How to get rid of a stomach ache

When your stomach is upset, you have difficulty concentrating or even your day to live normally. There are tons of non-prescription drugs for the stomach available from your pharmacist. If you want to cure stomach ailments and prevent them from coming back, follow these steps.

   1. Find the source of your pain. Do not start treatment until you know the source of your pain. Your stomach is a large area so start by locating your pain. Do you feel a contraction in the abdomen or intestines? Or burning in your upper stomach?

   2. Stay hydrated. You need to drink water every day, what it is. Dehydration can cause stomach pain, tightness in the intestine and constipation. Drink eight glasses of water a day helps your body function properly and without it, the belly is the first to feel the pain and contraction.

   3. Eating crackers. Often, the pain of the stomach is caused by hunger or by something unpleasant that you have eaten. Turn off hunger with some crackers to calm your appetite. The crackers will also provide something to mix with bacteria or anything else unpleasant that you may have consumed.

   4. Relax. Stress is bad for your stomach. Take the time to stop, breathe deeply and to evacuate some of the stress that you weigh. Get up, stretch and take a walk to relax. This will also ease the tension contained in your stomach because of the pain you feel.

   5. Sip a soda. Drinks such as ginger ale, 7up and Sprite are perfect for a stomach ache. These drinks cause a small rise in sugar, in combination with gas bubbles, to help relieve some stomach pain and bloating.

   6. Maintain a diet high in fiber. When you suffer from stomach upset, you often take a look at your diet. If you do not drink enough water, start doing it. Next, check your fiber intake. If your digestive system does not work in a steady stream, you'll go and feel pain. You can also experience constipation or diarrhea, that cause both stomach ache. Eating foods high in fiber will help regulate your digestive system.

   7. Stop harmful products. That means stop taking aspirin and other analgesics that disturb your stomach. This also means getting rid of caffeine and acidity that accompanies coffee and soft drinks. Avoid spicy foods and other foods that cause your stomach.

   8. Wait. Sometimes it bothers you just need to get out of your digestive system. Give your body a chance to work for himself by eating light meals and healthy.
